georgieCranbrook’s New Dawn Developments recently took home a prestigious Georgie Award for its Novak residence, part of its Northwood Estates gated-community development.

Owned and produced by the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia, the Georgie Awards are recognized provincially and nationally as the premier housing awards program that highlights and celebrates excellence in home building in British Columbia.

Considered an “industry stamp of quality,” the Georgie Awards are open only to members of the Canadian Home Builder’s Association and affiliated local home builder associations throughout British Columbia.

New Dawn won the 2016 Georgie Award for “Best Single Family Detached Home up to 2,000 square feet and under $500,000 – Production,” for the Novak residence, a model home that was adapted to suit the specific needs of the clients, the Novaks. New Dawn president and CEO Chad Jensen said he’s thrilled to win the award.
